Respectful Recycling of Jain Dharma Holy Books A Devotional Eco-Initiative by ECOTECH PRIDE

The AKLANK VIDHYALAYA ASSOCIATION is one of the pioneer and well-known in the field of quality education in Kota. A sister organization AKLANK KALA KENDRA SAMITI, has a setup to promote the art and culture and recycling with adopting green initiatives. The AKLANK KALA KENDRA SAMITI is working to preserved holy books for our next generations and recycle the damaged, torn, books with respect.

Mr. Hriday Ray- Chief Sustainability Officer, has discussed with Dr. Sanskrit Jain along with Mr. Amit Singh Rana – Conservation Consultant for recycling solution for them. We have agreed to setup a Waste Paper Recycling Unit at his campus under the leadership of Mr. Peeyush Jain. We are pleased to inform that ECOTECH PRIDE has successfully completed the Installation, Commissioning and Training of waste paper recycling machines on 2nd October 2025.

In Jain Dharma, every scripture and holy text is more than just printed paper – it carries deep spiritual wisdom and divine teachings. However, over time, these sacred books may become damaged, torn, or aged. Disposing of them casually is not only improper but also emotionally distressing for devotees.

At Ecotech Pride, we have developed a scientific, eco-friendly, and respectful method to recycle the holy books of Jain Dharma – ensuring that these sacred materials are returned to nature with dignity and devotion.

  • The Need for Holy Book Recycling

Across India, Jain communities preserve countless religious texts in homes, temples, and libraries. Over the years, the natural aging process, humidity, and storage conditions can lead to wear and damage.

Instead of burning or discarding these materials – which can harm the environment – recycling provides a spiritual and sustainable alternative.
It allows devotees to honor the scriptures while contributing to a cleaner, greener planet, reflecting the true principles of Ahimsa (non-violence) and Aparigraha (non-possession).

  • Ecotech Pride’s Specialized Recycling Process

Our waste paper recycling machines are designed to handle religious materials with care, purity, and respect. The process ensures zero pollution and minimal waste, while maintaining spiritual sensitivity at every stage.

  • Respectful Collection & Sorting
Holy books are collected and handled manually by trained staff. Every book is treated with reverence, and non-paper elements like cloth or covers are carefully separated.
  • Eco-Safe Pulping
The paper is processed using chemical-free and eco-friendly techniques, ensuring no harmful impact on the environment.
  • Water Recycling System
Our advanced recycling units reuse up to 90% of the process water, conserving natural resources and maintaining clean operations.
  • New Life to Paper
The recycled pulp is converted into new eco-paper, which is often used for educational materials, eco-friendly packaging, and community welfare purposes – symbolizing renewal and rebirth.
·        Harmony between Faith and Technology

At Ecotech Pride, we believe engineering should serve ethics. Our recycling solutions integrate modern innovation with traditional values – creating harmony between technology and spirituality.

By choosing this respectful recycling method, Jain communities help:

  • Protect trees and reduce deforestation
  • Prevent pollution from burning paper
  • Promote eco-conscious religious practices
  • Inspire future generations to act responsibly
·        Our Commitment

  • Conclusion
